Thanks for sharing. Club Ride shorts are amazing! I just got my first pair this season and loved them. The other brand I love is Zoic. Both brands are comfortable and durable.

Great video, so I live in Wicklow Ireland so my list it a bit more wet weather leaning 1 dakine gear bag, has seperate pouches and compartments for shoes and helmet 2 dakine bum bag it’s light weight fits the essentials w a side pouch for a bottle for short spins, 3. Dry robe ( new addition. Got it for X mas) lets me stay super warm and change in the side of a road in January, 4. vroom bag ( this is a circular bag that turns into a mat where u can stand on it take ur wet clothes off and then pull the chord chord to draw the bag up round the wet clothes, it’s awesome) 5.my Thuile tow bar mounted bike rack, 6. torq lemon and lime electrolyte drink, not too sweet and tastes like your Gran’s home made lemonade) and 7.natural convectionary company jellies ( esp the sours), 8. my giro bib shorts which has an elasticated halter neck which makes it really practical. i don’t have much use for sun screen or short sleeve jerseys even in summer am afraid. That’s mine anyway.

Two things that made a huge difference recently for me and my rising was Building my new enduro bike, Nicolai/Geometron G1 size large and going for coil front and rear(ext Storia V3 shock fox 36 factory with Vorsprung coil Smashpot conversion) made a huge difference. Coil means, No need to adjust pressure every time I went out in the winter, no need to do it during a ride. The new bike is long, low and slack at 61deg head angle , with steep seat tube, fits great me being at 181cm quite average legs, arms, 515 reahh fit me great. The bike is a great climber, and plows trough the trail, very stable, but I will need to practise some more to get used to the huge difference in position, but I will eventually get there it was like that with my previous bike too, felt heavy and harder to lift the front, but actually the new bike made wheelies easier, once I got it up, it was very easy to control. But manuals and bunny hops I still need to work on. Practising riding up high drops and dropping I lready started on. Even the bike is much heavier I don’t regret it, about 19kg vs my previous at about 15 I think it was. My only complaint is better engagement than what Hope Pro 4 has would be nice. An long term update on the Onyx hubs would be nice.

Products that make mtb life easier as of recent was Fumpa electric pump, but you need to remember to charge it.

9:59 I have no clue why any deodorant would have aluminium in it. but a lot of products have unnecessary ingredients that probably could be solved in other ways.

Tess!! My husband & I purchased Race Day bags for each other for Christmas (thanks for the code!) We LOVE THEM!! The bags are made in the USA (in our native So. CA!!) and we cannot say enough good things about them – my favorite feature is that everything has a place – nothing is lost or forgotten!! I was surprised you didn’t mention Shredly! I have been impressed with the quality of their fabrics and the fit of the leggings — so nice on a cool day ride. I LOVE good socks for MTB — I can’t say enough good things about Smartwool socks!! Sunscreen: Thinksport is what we use.. no weird chemicals… if we’re avoiding them in deodorant we should be avoiding them in our sunscreen. My favorite piece of gear for every ride — my custom made wing nut (https://www.wingnutgear.com/)!! The hubs got it for me a few years ago and don’t ride without it (especially in Pisgah)!!

Great reviews! I really appreciate when people actually bring field testing to the table its refreshing. Also, i have never thought about the negative effects of deoderant, but now ill have to look into it. Also I feel like the wife would really dig the glitter sunscreen. glad you guys are still posting and that you are finding your own thing in a new channel.

Great list! My julbo glasses, pedaling industries bag, wahoo element, and tailwind have become some of my most used pieces of gear. Those julbo glasses really are something special. The reactiv lenses are amazing.

I’m with you on Native deodorant. Used to be that I could never wear any polyester because other products I tried didn’t control the odor, but this stuff does a great job.

I don’t understand why bike computers are so popular. Everyone has a cell phone which can do everything you need via strava or a similar app, even if you don’t want to share your stats. What benefit do you get from having a separate bike computer?

I have had a problem with tennis elbow and purchased a tennis elbow band/strap . I was skeptical that this would make a difference and wow it did an amazing job with reduction of pain and helped to heal . Its only my right arm so I wear the strap when I ride or do physical activity with mostly gripping things .

Hi Tess (big Hi to Steve and the little princess), me and my wife love your channel. We’ve gotten lots of tips from you guys and basically inspired my wife to ride! 2019 was not a good year for us since she fell of a bridge with her bike and amazingly only broke her wrist, but still it was quite a scary experience. Dr gave us the green light on her recovery; she wants to return, but I feel she’s still scared (obviously) and reacts very defensively. I’m wondering if you might have a video about tips suggestions, or your girl friend rider experiences on getting back up the horse?
