    You know another workout that you guys could do for your lower abs are Flutter Kicks. Those put alot of work into your lower abs I would suggest doing 3 sets of these and do them for at least 20 secs, if you do these for a whole month I would suggest that you add an extra 10 secs each week

    Quick thing – you don’t need to rest a day in between ab workouts. Your core is constantly engaged, it’s part of the reason we can stay upright, etc. The abdominal muscles are constantly in use so they’re built to last, therefore day rests in between workouts are unnecessary.

    Use Caloric Deficit…. absolutely it will work.

    I think its not cardio or the jumping rope… it’s all about Caloric Deficit. As long as you didnt cut your Calories base on your TDEE, it will not work your abs workout.

    actually if ur over weight and loose the weight u can still obtain a v cut,just gotta put in the hard work,i had a v cut back in middle school then i stopped doin abb workouts gained weight and started doin strength training and now ik doin dirty bulking is bad for you so im startin up my own fitness channel on ig and on here to show everyone can loose the weight and get their dream body but my workout wont be easy at all.but some people cant get v cuts due to their genetics,certain genetics cant get v cuts

      Not that effective, I did the same exact exercises when I was 14 and I got a 6 pack in 3 months too, but I didnt do the 3rd exercise he showed I did some other ones and dont give up because Already had a low body fat percentage so it was easier but you’ll get there so if you dont see much results make sure you keep going

    Not much scientific when it come to anatomic details.. there is nothing like upper and lower rectus.. and last work out still puts ur upper part of ur rectus to work.. while lower rectus(not much) work to keep ur legs flexed.. mainly hip flexion is carried by ileo-psoas muscle which is feel inside the abdomen,.. but pelvic flexion is caused by your rectus.. so make sure u lift your pelvis..
    But rest whatever he told will def give results.. 👊

    His first two exercises barely work lower abs at all, they primarily target hip flexors. His reverse crunch actually isn’t a reverse crunch. Look up how to properly do a reverse crunch. That one exercise is all you need to do for lower abs. This guy has almost ZERO knowledge of abs. Sad as shit he got so many views. If he had any character he would take the video down.

    I watched this other youtube video for ab workouts and i tried it, the next day it barely hurt, i found this video and did the workouts… Holy fuck, i could barely walk the next day, my abs hurt so bad, i had to stay slouched over cuz it would hurt to walk normally, i ended up just skipping that days workouts because i actually couldn’t work out, i tried doing pull ups and couldn’t pull myself up, and i tried doing sit ups and i couldn’t pull myself up either. Turns out you use your abs for almost ever task even if its just a little bit, that was a very painfull day. It still kind of hurts today but its much better than yesterday

    I’m not so sure about the drinking water. I find that when I don’t drink water my abs are more defined. Hugh Jackman for one of his Wolverine scenes didn’t drink water so that his muscles were more defined. But maybe it’s different for each person

    It’s important to remember that for the an exercises you need to try squeeze in your belly and breathe out when you contract so you don’t build a muscular pot belly (especially if you currently have a bulging gut). Also for the leg and knee raises you should be aiming to lift your pelvis rather than legs so you activate your rectus abdominus rather than hip flexors. The legs will still swing up and down and act as a counterweight.

      Xo Island I recommend gaining weight and muscle before worrying about abs. At 5’9 140 pounds you are probably thin but not too muscular. However, if you’re only interested in abs, you should be fine to start working on visible abs.
